We’ve known Carla and her family for years, so when she told us she was getting married, we had to be a part of it.

September 29th must’ve been the day to get married downtown this year. The DWJ Team got to be a part of three incredible, Chicago weddings this past Saturday.
We’ve gotta say, River North, the lakefront, and the Willis tower have never looked so good. Thanks to all of our great couples for having us be a part of your iconic Chicago celebrations!
Emily and Nick are the sweetest, most laid back couple.
They planned a an intimate small town wedding, in Tampico, Illinois. The day was geared toward simply celebrating and dancing the night away…which was definitely accomplished when a flash mob dance routine broke out in the middle of the reception!

We’ve been anticipating their wedding day for so long, and it was even more beautiful than we could’ve expected. Nothing beats celebrating life and love with great friends at sunset!

A week before Lindsey & Brad’s wedding day, I spent the afternoon with Lindsey for her bridal sitting.
She had told me that her and Brad were home-bodies and that she really wanted to do her pictures in her dress at home.
We ended up hanging out, talking about our favorite childhood books, laughing at her dog, and talking about how fun the wedding was going to be (which it was!)
Lindsey has a great way of making you feel right at home, even when hosting in her wedding dress. Too cute!
